Diversity Peer Educators (DPEs)
DPEs are trained student facilitators who utilize their passion for inclusion, intersectionality, and social justice to help create a better Harvard community. Through dialogue DPEs center student voices and help develop brave spaces where students can show up for each other, share their identities and connect through both commonality and difference.
I joined the Diversity Peer Educator team since the fall of 2016. During my time as a DPE, I have received weekly trainings on theoretical frameworks of oppression, identity and belonging, in additional to working with the team to bring various events to the Harvard campus. Beyond my regular responsibilities, I have also served as the graphic designer and the historian of the team. Below are examples of my work for the team.

The Annual Audrey Bruce Currier Dinner
Initiative jointly by Currier House DPEs and mentors, the annual Audrey Bruce Currier dinner is a community event that's first of its kind at Harvard College. The dinner brings students together to celebrate the unusual history of Currier House's unique namesakes - 5 females who graduated from the historical Radcliffe College with legacies in philanthropy, journalism, education and the arts.
Following up the event, a photo installation was put up in the residential hall. The installation was featured in an article by the Harvard Gazette, which can be accessed here.
